Singapore Airlines’ low-cost offshoot Scoot has cheap fares on sale from these four cities for travel in August.
Tropical Singapore has a number of festivals on and enjoys one of its drier months in August, with the Singapore Food Festival, the Singapore International Festival of Arts and the Singapore Night Festival, not to mention the shopping, food and Universal Studios amusement park.

You might notice that we have included Jetstar quotes from Perth and Melbourne. This is because you can request that Jetstar beat a competitor’s (Scoot) fare by 10% through their Price Beat Guarantee service, potentially reducing a return flight ex Perth to $196 on Jetstar vs $218 on Scoot, and ex Gold Coast $259 on Jetstar vs $288 on Scoot. Do note that you need to book a return flight as two one-ways and that this service is slated to cease operation on 2 August 2016.
Things to note:
- Scoot is low-cost airline, meaning that you have to pay extra for checked baggage and inflight meals
- As Scoot (and most low-cost carriers) prices legs separately, if you want to do an open-jaw ticket, e.g. Perth – Singapore – Melbourne, that is possible by doing a Multi-City search on Zuji

Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. Fares may disappear quickly, so we suggest booking as soon as you are confident in your travel dates.
