Reminder: Qantas Marginal Any Seat Awards (which earn points and status credits on cheap points bookings) disappear tomorrow

A quick, late in the day reminder for this of you that know how to take advantage of Qantas Any Seat Awards (there’s a quick primer here).

The opportunity to book these goes away TODAY, June 30, with them no longer available from tomorrow, July 1st. If you’re keen to lock in some bookings to earn points and status credits on Business Class travel at the cheaper level for these than the ‘regular’ Any Seat Awards, then you’ll need to do so in the next 12 hours.

I outlined the changes when Qantas announced them back in March, and tomorrow is the day Qantas also put their new points and status credit earn rates in place on Qantas flights, and status credit earn changes on partner flights.

July 1st came around quickly!
