American Express cards have a great money-saving perk – regular cashback deals on both big-name brands and smaller boutique stores. If they happen to cover things you’d normally buy anyway, these offers are a great way to make the most out of your card.
On the points side of things, American Express doesn’t disappoint either. Whether it’s bonus points for adding an additional cardholder or for transferring to a partner, here are the latest American Express promotions.
Get ready for the next round of Amex offers by signing up for a new card.

Note: Not all American Express deals may be available to all Card Members or may differ from what is shown below. Some offers are targeted to specific individuals and card types.
1. 15,000 bonus KrisFlyer miles when you transfer 150,000 MR points
Expiry: 18 August 2024 |
For one month, transfer at least 150,000 American Express Membership Rewards to Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer and receive 15,000 bonus KrisFlyer miles, equivalent to 30% more. You’ll end up with 65,000 KrisFlyer miles instead of 50,000 KrisFlyer miles. The bonus is capped at 15,000 miles.
With the transfer rate bumped down from 2:1 to 3:1 last year, this promotion will help ease some of the pain of the change. Just keep in mind that KrisFlyer miles have a hard expiry after three years, so be sure to use them by then.
You must be enrolled in Premium Ascent, Ascent or Gateway Membership Rewards.
If you’re not ready to transfer yet, you could also wait for the 50% transfer bonus to Marriott Bonvoy to return. After all the bonuses, 60,000 Amex MR points would net you 25,000 KrisFlyer miles going via Marriott Bonvoy – a slightly lower return than this current promo, but with more flexibility in how much or little you transfer.

Summing up
Need a reminder on how to access these American Express deals and promotions? Read our dedicated guide to taking advantage of Amex Offers. For cashback offers, be sure to save the offers to your card before doing the transaction, and check the T&Cs for each deal to make sure you don’t do anything that would make the transaction ineligible.
For bonus transfer offers, head to the Membership Rewards transfer page and log in to your account to ensure the correct bonus is showing for you. Some bonuses are tiered or targeted to specific cardholders, so it’s worth checking the fine print. Bonus offers will show up in the description but not on the calculator.

When do you expect the next 50% bonus on Marriot Bonvoy points. The last one was in August 2023 and the previous one May 2023.

Thanks for the useful article. I have quite a few AMEX points sitting in American Express, normally when these bonuses come up, I transfer some across to Velocity to pick up the bonus as I know i will use them for all my domestic travel. I generally prefer to keep the points in AMEX until needed then move the relevant partner airline for business class travel when I’m ready to book. I noticed the 50% on Marriot Bonvoy basically means a 1:1 transfer but there is no value in moving them to MB, then to Velocity or similar. Is there value in holding MB for other reasons and will they expire if not used?
Thanks – very useful article – the bonus to Marriott Bonvoy had escaped my notice and could be very handy.
Little more than clickbait. Expect better of you guys.
