Flight Deal: Melbourne Avalon – Kuala Lumpur AirAsia launch fares from only $99 one-way

Asia’s largest low-cost carrier is moving its double-daily flights from Tullamarine to the cheaper Avalon Airport near Geelong from 5 December, and has very cheap fares to celebrate.

Depart: Melbourne Avalon

Arrive: Kuala Lumpur

Dates: mid-January to mid-August 2019 (excluding Easter, most of June and the start of July)

Airline: AirAsia

Lounge access: there are four Priority Pass lounges in klia2, the terminal that AirAsia operates from at Kuala Lumpur; no lounges at Melbourne Avalon

Cost: $99+ one-way in Economy Class
