Boost Velocity Status Credits
Domestic connections on Virgin Australia are permitted en route to maximise Status Credit earning potential
If flying from the East Coast, instead of taking a direct flight to Abu Dhabi, flying on Virgin Australia to Perth and then Etihad to Abu Dhabi will net 720 Status Credits.
Likewise, if flying from Perth, backtracking to Sydney on Virgin Australia for an onward Etihad flight will net you 720 Status Credits.
