Hamilton Island is an interesting (relatively new) Velocity points earn partner, mostly offering 3 points per $ when you book directly with accommodation on the island.
There’s also a decent sale running at the minute, with up to 35% off accommodation until 5pm on 27th October.
Combine the two options with the current airfare sales on Hamilton Island from Virgin Australia and Qantas, or with a points redemption and this could be a neat way to use and earn points for an Island break.
The current Hamilton Island sale
The current sale ends on October 27th, and offers up to 35% off the accommodation rates the Palm Bungalows, Reef View Hotel or Beach Club.
Hamilton Island itself looks stunning, and the accommodation looks pretty sweet too. It’s high up on my list of places to visit in Australia.
