What points can I earn at Kaligo?
There are over 900,000 hotels available on the Kaligo platform, all of which should be able to earn you points. You can choose to credit to a selection of program partners, which include:

How many points can I earn with Kaligo?
Outside of specific bonus points promotions, you’ll earn points or miles for each stay you book in future. There’s no set earn rate as it varies with how much you spend and the hotel you book.
As an estimate, you could earn about 2,200 points for every US$200 you spend per night on most properties.
Kaligo requires pre-payment for all bookings but shows the cancellation policies and associated fees clearly in the checkout process. Where free cancellations are permitted, you would receive a refund.

For a search of one night at the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park in early 2025, we found that Kaligo was priced higher than Qantas Hotels for the same room with free cancellation. But booking directly with Accor as an Accor Live Limitless member was by far the cheapest option.
A few searches of hotels highlighted that Kaligo prices are often in line with, or slightly higher than, other online hotel booking websites. In instances of small price differences, it can come down to if or which points/miles you can earn with a particular booking site.
Ultimately, booking direct with the hotel may generate savings that outweigh any extra points that could be earned.
Earning Velocity Points through CommBank Awards
While you can’t earn Velocity Points from bookings on Kaligo, you could instead earn CommBank Awards points and then convert these into Velocity Points.
At most properties on Kaligo, you could earn 15 CommBank Awards points per dollar, which would effectively be equivalent to earning 7.5 Velocity Points for every dollar spent on cards that convert to Velocity at a 2:1 rate.
This compares better than booking through Rocket Travel, which partners with Virgin Australia or Qantas Hotels, which typically awards 3 Velocity Points or Qantas Points per $1 spent, respectively.
How do I earn points with Kaligo?
Here are the steps to earning points with Kaligo.
- Visit the Kaligo website and log in or create a new account.
- Select your preferred loyalty program from the drop-down menu on the booking page.
- Enter your destination, dates, rooms and number of people, then click ‘Search Hotels’.
- Sort through the results to find the listing that works best for you.
- With your chosen hotel, select a room rate that works for you. Take into account cancellation policies and points/miles earned.
- Complete the guest, loyalty program and payment information to secure your booking.
- Points or miles will be awarded to you within six weeks of your completed hotel stay.

Kaligo has a compelling offer if the hotel you want pops up at a cost that’s competitive. Its main selling point is its vast number of supported loyalty programs, so you can earn points in a program that suits you.
However, you should check against booking directly with the property to be sure you’re not losing out on a better price or package, just in order to earn points or miles.
Also, keep in mind that booking through third-party sites such as Kaligo may invalidate you from both earning points and elite nights, and from using any elite status benefits that you may have accrued with a particular hotel chain.
