Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer and Marriott Bonvoy are now preferred partners, opening the floodgates for a raft of reciprocal status-matching opportunities for members of both programs.

On the table are ‘accelerator challenges’ to KrisFlyer Elite Silver and Gold status. Conversely, elite KrisFlyer members can fast-track to Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite or Platinum Elite after completing a number of stays.

Accelerator Challenge for KrisFlyer elite status

Hold Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite or Lifetime Gold Elite? Here’s your chance to nab entry-level KrisFlyer Elite Silver status. Simply link your accounts and take two flights on Singapore Airlines within 6 months. Do so, and Elite Silver is yours for a full year.

KrisFlyer Elite Silver perks include 25% more KrisFlyer miles whenever you fly Singapore Airlines and Scoot, free standard seat selection, priority waitlists and discounted service fees.

The offer is sweeter for those with Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador Elite (including lifetime members). You’ll qualify for an instant 12 months of KrisFlyer Elite Silver – and if you already hold that status, it’ll be extended a further 12 months.

But the cherry on top is the chance to upgrade to KrisFlyer Elite Gold by taking four flights on Singapore Airlines within 6 months of linking. If you manage that, a whole year of Elite Gold status awaits.

KrisFlyer Elite Gold grants Star Alliance Gold perks such as lounge access across the Star Alliance and Virgin Australia network, priority check-in, security, baggage and boarding.

Eligible flights are those operated by Singapore Airlines on revenue fares, excluding Group (G) tickets.

Fast track to hotel perks with Marriott Bonvoy

Enjoy more benefits at participating Marriott properties worldwide if you already hold Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Elite or PPS Club status.

KrisFlyer Elite Silver members can match to Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite status by staying three qualifying nights at participating properties within six months of registration.

Meanwhile, KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members can look forward to instant Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status upon registration. This grants 25% bonus Bonvoy points, enhanced room upgrades and a 2pm late checkout (subject to availability). It’s also valid until February 2025.

Fast track to Platinum Elite status after staying ten qualifying nights within six months. Platinum Elite members earn 50% bonus points, may be upgraded to selected suites, have hotel lounge access and have a 4pm late checkout.

There’s no set end date for this promotion – as long as the partnership between Singapore Airlines and Marriott is still active, these offers should still be available. To link your accounts, log in to your KrisFlyer account first.

Navigate to ‘Profile’ and then ‘Partner programmes’. Choose ‘non-airline partner’ and ‘Marriott Bonvoy’. Add your membership number and click ‘Add’. Then navigate back to the landing page and follow the links to register for the promotion.
