An indulgent getaway shouldn’t break the bank. And with Luxury Escapes‘ new VIP travel club, LuxPlus+, it’s even easier to access hotels, tours and travel offers for less.
The yearly subscription offers additional discounts and exclusive offers for members. Think up to 15% off on luxury accommodation, extras like daily breakfast and complimentary room upgrades, savings on select tours and more.
New Zealanders were first to access LuxPlus+, and the program is available in Australia too. Here’s what’s in store.
Unlimited, year-round benefits with LuxPlus+
LuxPlus+ is the new, paid subscription program of Luxury Escapes. Building on its mission to offer exclusive, handpicked getaways, Luxury Escapes’ LuxPlus+ program goes a step beyond with greater discounts, hidden offers, bonus inclusions on your stay and more.
An annual membership fee plus a one-off joining fee applies. But with an annual LuxPlus+ membership, you’ll unlock the following year-round benefits:
- Save hundreds every year with additional discounts of up to 15% on eligible Limited Time LUX Exclusive offers.
- Bonus inclusions like hotel credit, daily breakfast, complimentary room upgrades and more on select hotels.
- Unlock hidden hotel offers available exclusively for LuxPlus+ members and take your pick of dates and rooms before the general public.
- Extra savings on exclusive tours, with additional discounts of up to 10% on select departures.
- Early access to bestselling offers.
- Jump to the queue with priority access to customer support with global coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How to join LuxPlus+
If you have an existing Luxury Escapes account, you can join LuxPlus+ with these details. And if you’re not already signed up, it’s free to create a Luxury Escapes account to become a LuxPlus+ member.
LuxPlus+ is a paid subscription program, and the following fees apply:
- One-off joining fee of $500
- Annual fee of $249
However, if you join and make an eligible hotel or tour booking in the same transaction (no minimum spend required), the joining fee will be waived.
Once you’re a member of Luxury Escapes’ VIP travel club, you’ll have instant access to all the perks of LuxPlus+, including exclusive benefits and offers.

This is really crappy from LuxEscapes. At most I can see an extra $50-100 on a $2-3k booking. The ‘exclusive’ pre-release is not important as these barely get booked out. The membership fee does not justify the savings.
I certainly won’t sign up – and I’ve booked 10 trips with luxury escapes in the last 3 years.
Quite expensive, and it’s questionable whether it’s worth the benefits as no specific benefits are listed – all “up to”, “like”, “hidden”.
And given my experience where they say you get VA points for booking, but then when you go to book there’s no mechanism to do that, highly questionable that any of these benefits will apply on any given booking you look at.
