Qantas and Accor unlock reciprocal points partnership
Start earning an easy 3 Qantas Points per dollar spent on Accor hotels in Asia-Pacific!
What we'll be covering
What’s better than earning points on a hotel stay? Earning bonus Qantas Points on top as well! In an Asia-Pacific first, Qantas and hotel chain Accor now boast a reciprocal points partnership. Eligible members of both programs can simultaneously earn both Qantas Points and Accor Live Limitless (ALL) points on Accor hotel bookings and Qantas flight bookings.
The deal applies for Accor hotel stays across the Asia-Pacific region, as well as across Qantas’ own domestic and international flights. Excited to know more? We’ve got all the details here.
Customers are at the heart of this joint venture and the combined strength of Accor and Qantas will bring significant extended benefits.
– Simon McGrath, Accor Pacific CEO
Earning Qantas Points with Accor stays
First up, Qantas Frequent Flyer members will be richly rewarded when staying at Accor properties. In addition to the usual hotel points you’d pocket, you’ll also earn three Qantas Points for every AU$1. That’s simply an astounding bonus when there’s no requirement to fly Qantas before or after your stay.
For example, stay at the Raffles Singapore for $2,624, and earn around:
- 6,298 Reward points as an ALL Gold member (worth $188.94), plus
- 7,872 Qantas Points on top (worth $148.71 based on our points valuation).
As a reminder, 8,000 Qantas Points is enough for an Economy reward flight on short routes such as Sydney-Melbourne. Not a bad haul for two nights!
From that stay at Raffles, you’d also have enough ALL points to take €120 (AU$186) off your next stay, since ALL points can be redeemed at a fixed rate of 2,000 points = €40.
ALL Reward points and Qantas Points are earned on eligible properties when booking directly through the property, Accor website, or when directly booked with a traditional travel agency. Unfortunately, bookings through resellers and third-party travel agencies (such as Expedia or Booking.com) don’t qualify.
The participating Asia-Pacific countries are Australia, Cambodia, China (including Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR), Fiji, French Polynesia, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Phew, that’s quite a list!
Earning Accor Points with Qantas flights
Whenever you book a paid Qantas flight with your Accor account linked, you might pocket some extra points as well. But you’ll need to be an elite status member with either Qantas (Platinum and higher) or ALL (Gold and higher).
- ALL Gold: Earn 1 ALL Reward point per AU$10 spent on Qantas flights.
- ALL Platinum + Diamond: Earn 2 ALL Reward points per AU$10 spent on Qantas flights.
- Qantas Platinum + Platinum One: Earn 2 ALL Reward points per AU$10 spent on Qantas flights.
Eligible flights are ones operated by Qantas with a QF flight code, so codeshares are excluded.
Remember that Accor Live Limitless Reward points – including those earned on Qantas flights – can be transferred to more than 30 other airline frequent flyer programs. You could send them back to Qantas to top-up your account, or even to Velocity Frequent Flyer (how’s that for irony!)
You can convert 2,000 ALL Reward points to 2,000 Qantas Points, even without linking your accounts.

Summing up
The new partnership between Qantas and Accor is delivering real benefits to members. In many ways, it’s a perfect match as hotels and airlines are so intrinsically linked in the travel world. We particularly like how rewarding it is for Qantas Frequent Flyer members to collect three points per dollar spent on hotel stays.
Accor Live Limitless members don’t miss out either, with up to two points awarded per AU$10 spent on Qantas flights. Each program also has a reciprocal partner offer, though none are particularly flash. Accor Silver status gives you a few nice touches, while Qantas Wine Premium membership is useful for those who enjoy buying wine (and collecting even more bonus points).
As for other hotel/airline pairings, American Airlines and Hyatt’s partnership is quite similar. Elite members can earn bonus points or miles on both hotel and flight bookings. Emirates and Marriott have a similar arrangement under a program called ‘Your World Rewards’ – though once again, it’s only for elite members of both programs.
Closer to home, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer and Shangri-La partner up in the Infinite Journeys program, which provides two-way points redemptions, accelerated membership status and more.
Meanwhile, United Premier Gold members and higher gain complimentary Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status. That partnership also gives a 10% boost when transferring Marriott Bonvoy points to MileagePlus miles. In time, it would be great to see Accor and Qantas deepen the reciprocal benefits for high-tier members.
