Deal: Save up to 25% on Preferred Seating, extra baggage with Qatar Airways
Expiry: Purchase and pay for these ancillaries by 18 January 2022. |
Booking Economy Class but fancy a seat in a better location? Upgrade to a ‘Preferred Seat’ during this deal and save 25% on the asking price.
On Qatar Airways, Preferred Seats don’t offer extra legroom. They’re instead at the very front of Economy Class. On the Airbus A380, all Economy Class seats at the rear of the upper deck also fall into this category.
Pricing varies from flight to flight, although Preferred Seats normally come at a charge on all but the highest-cost Comfort fare types.
A discount of up to 25% is also available when purchasing extra baggage via the Qatar Airways website, by the date above.
Deal: Join Qatar Airways Privilege Club and pocket 2,500 bonus Qmiles
Expiry: Join online by 18 January 2022. |
If you’re not already a member of Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club program, there’s never been a better time to sign up.
Join for free, enter the code FLYQR22 during the application process, and you’ll grab an instant 2,500 bonus Qmiles.
Qmiles are Qatar Airways’ version of frequent flyer points. These can be used towards flight bookings and upgrades, along with the many other ways you can usually spend frequent flyer points.
It’s worth noting that Qatar Airways is also a member of the oneworld Alliance. This means travellers could instead earn and spend Qantas Points on Qatar Airways flights. Privilege Club is simply a different option, that can have unique advantages for those regularly travelling to Qatar and beyond.

Summing up
With savings to be had on flights, better-positioned seats and even accommodation, Qatar Airways’ latest deals are worth considering.
Although fare prices will differ between city pairs and travel dates, overall, these offers are highly competitive. It’s not every day we see cash fares to Europe around the $6,000 mark! If you are flying on dollars rather than points, Qatar Airways’ Business Class is a great way to fly – especially when booking the airline’s Qsuites.
