Many domestic borders are set to come down in the coming weeks, and our airlines are busy ramping up flights in preparation for a mass influx of bookings. But Qantas is taking it a step further with not one, but two competitions to dish out reward travel-sick passengers.
Both competitions are independent of each other so you could pocket up to two sweet prizes. We’ve got all the details you need to know below — keep on reading to learn how to enter and how to win!
Win 1 million Qantas Points with a points-earning credit card

Qantas Frequent Flyer is aiming to make Christmas even merrier by giving 10 people the chance to win 1 million Qantas Points. To enter, you must first be holding a Qantas Points-earning rewards credit card.
Every point earned and credited to Qantas by that card by 15 December 2020 is worth one entry into the draw. There are also four ways to earn bonus entries, including:
- Buying items through Qantas Shopping (500 entries)
- Buying items through Qantas Wine (500 entries, max 4 times)
- Joining and buying fuel through BP Rewards (250 entries, once a day)
- Joining Everyday Rewards and opting to convert to Qantas Points during the promotion period (250 entries).
How do I enter this competition?
- Hold a valid Qantas Points-earning credit card
- Log in and activate the offer with the Qantas Card Companion
- Until 15 December 2020, spend on your card for 1 entry per Qantas Points earned
- The winners will be drawn randomly on 12 January 2021
Win the value of your next Qantas booking back

In celebration of border restrictions easing across select states in Australia, Qantas is giving 1 in 100 customers the chance to receive the value of their next flight booking back.
That’s a 1% chance of winning, which is admittedly quite small. The odds are still better than what you’d normally get with the lottery, though.
Winning customers who make a cash booking will receive a Qantas Travel Pass loaded with the equivalent dollars spent, valid up to 31 December 2022. However, prizes will be capped at $4,999 and each booking is valid for one entry, regardless of the number of passengers.
Those booking with points, including Classic Reward Seats and Points Plus Pay, will receive the same number of points back.
How do I enter this competition?
- Buy a Qantas Australian domestic flight fare between 9 to 22 November 2020, for travel up to 31 March 2021
- Register your booking at qantas.com/win
- Winners will be drawn on 14 December 2020 and contacted from 21 December 2020 onwards
- If you win, your prize will be awarded after you fly the itinerary
