You’ll earn 1,000 bonus Qantas Points. Then there is the option for another 1,000 points if you spend $30 within three months of joining.

How many Qantas Points can I earn with TerryWhite Chemmart?
Members will earn 2 Qantas Points for every $1 spent on eligible purchases at participating pharmacies.
The way this works is that you’ll earn 3 TerryWhite Chemmart REWARDS points per $ spent. At the end of each month, each 3 REWARDS points convert into 2 Qantas Points.
Note that points cannot be earned on baby formula, NDSS, Webster, prescriptions and identified scheduled medicines.
How to earn 1,000 bonus Qantas Points by joining TerryWhite REWARDS
New TerryWhite Chemmart REWARDS members can earn 1,000 bonus Qantas Points when they join and spend $30 or more in-store within 90 days of joining.
Note that if you choose to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points, you will forgo your bonus 300 TerryWhite Chemmart REWARDS points.
How to earn Qantas Points with TerryWhite Chemmart
- Register for a TerryWhite Chemmart REWARDS account (free)
- Click on Go to my REWARDS portal
- Link your Qantas Frequent Flyer account (join Qantas for free here)
- Shop and scan your REWARDS card to earn points (if you don’t have your physical card with you, they can look you up in the system via your phone number or email address)
- Your REWARDS points will be converted to Qantas Points at the end of the month (much like Everyday Rewards does every quarter)
Summing up: is this a good deal?
Given our valuation of Qantas Points at 1.9 cents each, this gives you an effective 4% cashback at purchases at TerryWhite Chemmart. As far as I know, this is the only partnership where you can earn frequent flyer points when shopping in-store at a chemist in Australia.
For online purchases, you can earn 2 Velocity Points per $ spent with Priceline Pharmacy and Chemist Warehouse when clicking through the Velocity eStore. Or you can earn up to 3.5% cashback with a number of retailers through Cashrewards.
Do you plan on taking advantage of this new points-earning partnership?
I did a quick price comparison over the weekend and Terry White was 15-25% more expensive than Chemist Warehouse, at least for the products I would checked.
Not sure it’s really worth it but I would be interested to hear if anyone else has found some value
So can we double dip with points? Earn 2 points per $1 spent in store with their reward system plus the points earn rate from our chosen credit card for the same transaction? Say if I use the ANZ Rewards Black Qantas which gives me 1 point per $1, then we’d be effectively getting 3 points per $1 (2 from the Terry White rewards system and 1 from ANZ).
